We presented our project The Beach Chronicles at the “OFF MENU?!” comic book panel organized by @jableallday at @trippinganimalsbrewing. The panelists including KijiK founder Kevin Sharpley gave their take on the comic “Do a Powerbomb!” by Daniel Warren Johnson & Mike Spicer and spoke about their work as creators and artists. The conversation lent itself perfectly to the KijiK multimedia project @thebeachchronicles which has a couple of comics, an animated film featuring Michael Chiklis, Daryl Hannah, Tommy Flanigan, Jimmy Jean Louis and more that debuted at the @miamifilm festival and also has a companion podcast, VR component, and other parts to be released. It was great to wax poetic about comics, art, film, tv, tattoos, music and more at such a cool spot. Incredible job and big thanks to @jableallday for bringing it all together and moderating excellence, and to the fellow panelists!
